The history of the shop

💜 What motivated me to open this shop 💜

I have always been passionate about second-hand goods.

The first time I went flea market hunting was with my grandfather. He introduced me to this world. I was about five years old when we went to our first yard sale. For years, we would get up at 5 a.m. to go to the Lille Braderie. Even on vacation at the seaside, we were always looking for secondhand events nearby.

I remember the little girl I was, kneeling on the ground, searching for any piece of jewelry or small figurine I could find.

Then I grew up.

In 2018, while I was in my third year of medical school, I started having serious health problems. I could no longer walk. I was clearly told that I could not continue my studies in this field because "it's not for the weak."

So I took on a series of odd jobs to survive. But deep down, I always kept my love for fashion and thrifting. However, keeping the clothes for myself never appealed to me. What I love is seeing people happy to receive their items, seeing the AMAZING outfits they create with them, and the new life they give those clothes.

So, here I am. After years of struggle, I've decided to stop being afraid and to live my passion. I want to bring happiness and beauty through the pieces I sell.

For me, clothes are works of art that bring joy and self-confidence. I hope you like what I select for you.

💜 Why this name? 💜

I chose to name my shop Lucid Dream 2007 for two reasons:

Lucid Dream means "lucid dream" in French. It's that state where you dream while remaining conscious, allowing you to take control of everything that happens. By opening this shop, I feel like I'm finally living this surreal life I've always dreamed of. A huge thank you to all my customers and everyone who supports me.

I also added the year 2007 because that's the year I met and adopted mo

My first dog with my family. It was a Doberman and Beauceron mix.

My brother (and especially him towards the end, so thank you to him) and I did everything we could to give him the life he deserved. He's no longer with us today, but I want him to continue to exist through my work.

💜 What I sell 💜

I sell vintage clothing, mainly from the 90s and 2000s. Before putting an item up for sale, I meticulously check every detail to ensure it is perfect.

I would NEVER sell anything I wouldn't wear myself. I look for high-quality pieces, and my only goal is to make the buyer happy.

My goal is to help you find pieces you'll keep forever (or at least for the next 20 years). I'm not trying to encourage overconsumption; I want to help you buy in a thoughtful and sustainable way.
